In addition to her work in counseling, Alexis is also a Board Director and Board Secretary for Reboot & Recover, an innovative 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides solutions for balanced living in a technology driven world. The focus is on youths that show a heavy interest in technology, the internet and gaming.
Our Vision Statement: We strive for the wellness of families and individuals by creating and providing research, education, intervention, treatment options and community resources to aid those suffering from the harmful and negative effects relating to the use and overuse of technology.
Reboot & Recover assist children and adolescents in learning how to balance their screen time wisely so they can live healthy and happy lives engaging in activities that are essential for healthy growth and development.
The activities will focus on essential health factors which include:
-Motor functional skills
-Critical thinking abilities
-Daily living fundamental skills
-Physical activity
-Emotional wellbeing
-Effective communication skills
-Interpersonal life skills
-Intrinsic values, morals, ethics and foster self-confidence

Reboot & Recover is the first non-profit organization to offer these services. As we are in the beginning stages of our organizational development funding is a priority to ensure our continuity. We would like to partner with your organization to help make a difference in the community.
Additionally we offer therapy for individuals, couples, and families for people struggling with any issues and needing the assistance of licensed professionals in a confidential and caring capacity.
We offer presentations and forums to agencies, communities, and individuals that would like to inform the general public, people they serve, or employees on any of the topics we cover. This includes:
-Video Game Addiction
-Internet Addiction
-Social Media Addiction
-Internet pornography addiction
-Gambling Addiction
-Cyber bullying
All presentations include clear definitions of these topics, specific examples of each, a step-by-step explanation of how to treat the issues, and conflict resolution tips and options. Our presentations can be catered to the audience’s needs.

As a public charity we are primarly funded through individuals. We can no exist without you! Please consider donating today, all donations at 100% tax deductible to the extent of the law. If you are unable to donate please consider volunteering with our organization. We also offer clinical supervision for mental health counselors seeking licensure as well as provide internship hours for individuals seeking their Florida Certification Board licenses for Certified Addiction Professionals.
